With its zoned baffles, high-loft goose down and ascent-ready feature set, the Electron Pro Jacket makes mountain-grade warmth and protection packable, portable and flexible.
As part of Rab's Ascent range, the Electron Pro Jacket is designed for winter insulation, alpine climbing and year-round mountain use. The lightweight outer is built from 20D Pertex Quantum Pro ripstop nylon with a DWR coating for improved weatherproofing. Zoned midi and micro baffle stitch-through construction helps minimise bulk, eradicate cold spots and increase core warmth. The ethically-sourced 800FP RDS-certified European goose down is treated with a Nikwax® hydrophobic finish for resilient loft retention. Other key features include stretch-panel cuffs, a helmet-compatible hood with stiffened peak and a pair of harness-friendly YKK® zipped hand pockets.
With its premium down, advanced fabrics, and active fit, Rab's multifunctional Electron Pro Jacket strikes the ideal balance between warmth, weight and mountain utility.

— Show originalAt first glance, the jacket is decent and does its job. Light and warm. The only drawback is that there is no reinforcement in the zipper strips.. the zippers tend to get stuck in the fabric of the jacket a little.| Overall rating |
This is by far the best jacket I've ever had! I'd buy it again and would recommend this to anyone. You won't regret it!

— Show originalA very comfortable and close-fitting jacket. It also fits into a small space when packed. Wind resistance proved to be good in Käsivarre on the windy lake ice at a few degrees below zero while admiring the northern lights. Could have stood for hours if the pants weren't so bad. The mouths of the sleeves are nice and tight, so the thread doesn't get in that way either, and you can also tighten it tight at the waist. I haven't had time to test the thermal insulation in severe frosts yet, but at least it was really warm in the early winter frosts.| Overall rating |
