— Show originalVery high-quality and precise finish on the surface of the handles and some of the tools.
The locking mechanisms work well on each tool, although I would like the bit-kit tip to be solid like the Skeletool. The carabiner is also worse in this model than the Skeletool, the "hammer" is an interesting, but mostly useless addition, although it feels good quality.
The blades are perfect and the sharpening stone hardly comes into use, but it gives a pleasant grip on the tool, especially the use of pliers is the best that Leatherman has to offer, because of the tight grip that the flint provides.
The pliers are good and the replaceable cutting surface is even excellent, but the bearing mechanism is bad, or at least I haven't been able to grease it as smooth as the connection of Skeletool's pliers.
The whistle is excellent for hiking, but it is laborious to put it in place without scratching it.
The whole is convincing, albeit for a very specific buyer base and the price is high.| Overall rating |
