The outdoor map Koli Ruunaa Patvinsuo Petkeljärvi 1:25,000 covers the most popular camping areas in North Karelia. The double-sided map sheet has maps of the three national parks (Koli, Patvinsuo and Petkeljärvi) and the Ruunaa camping area, all at the same scale of 1:25,000 (1 cm on the map is 250 m in terrain). The map is printed on water-resistant material. You can recognize our durable domestic outdoor maps by the yellow marking on the cover, and they are packed in a cardboard box.

Koli is one of our country's most popular national parks in terms of visitors. Koli is not only attracted by the magnificent national landscape, but also by the good local hiking opportunities and the Herajärvi loop hiking trail.

Patvinsuo is a wilderness national park with old forests, open marshes and sandy lakes. The trail network in the area is well suited for a few days' trips, and the trip can easily be continued south or north along the routes of the Karelia circuit.

Petkeljärvi is located right next to the eastern border in Ilomantsi. The national park is known for its handsome ridges, clear water lakes and wartime equipment. The park area is suitable for day trips, and the Taitaja taival route heading north is suitable for longer trips.

The Ruunaa camping area and nature reserve in Lieksa are known for the free-flowing Lieksanjoki, whose rapids offer experiences for fishermen, kayakers and tourists. Ruunaa also has several tens of kilometers of hiking trails and a network of trails.

The material of the map is completely waterproof and withstands almost unlimited folding, and it does not tear easily in normal map use. The properties are preserved even in cold and hot weather. The map is pleasant to the touch and lighter than printed on paper.

In addition to terrain information, routes and other camping services as well as places to eat and stay are marked on the map. Ten attractions or experiences from its area have been added to the map, which have been described in a few sentences in the border of the map in Finnish and English.
