The float part is so long that the much slimmer me can hardly get the belt tight enough (I'm L/XL). The float is also really sturdy. If you need flexibility in the tightening part, you won't find it in this belt. It does its job and floats well, but the cheap belt from the supermarket felt more comfortable.

Poor usability compared to swimming hall treadmills. The fastening belt is an inelastic material (swimming hall fastening belts are a sturdy rubber band) and therefore difficult to tighten to fit and to get the belt closed with a buckle easily so that it stays in the right place on the waist. Also, the model of the belt section is thick and rubs against the ribs. I would have returned it if I hadn't had time to write my name on it.
