Meindl Air Revolution 4.1 Lady GTX

Great trekking and hiking boots. They are comfortable (no blister so far after 6 days trek). They are quite rigid shoes but this is perfectly suited for long walks with a heavy bag on difficult terrain. Waterproofing was good enough for walking in wet grass all day and some muddy areas but did not sustain a whole day of rain and marshy grounds, but that was extremely wet conditions. They were still comfortable while wet though.

The Meindl Vakuum Lady GTX shoes I used previously lasted thousands of kilometers, i.e. 8 years of hard hiking use. Then the soles wore out and the leather started to crack in a few places (they were still waterproof though). Now I switched to this model, which feels slightly lighter, but stiffer. They feel comfortable on your feet right from the first meters. The rubber edging protects the shoes on the rocks. I recommend!

The only model of hiking shoe that does not cause a blister! Tested at the Kungsleden. no more friction around the ankle because it is flexible at the top. I'm on my 3rd pair!
