The same "thick" material as the rain fabric is traditionally on top of the tent, but thicker than the original bottom. Strong recommendation, does what it promises.

Same comment as the tent: I haven’t set up the tent. But the sending was swift. The reviews on YouTube were good enough to buy this tent. I will use it on the GDMBR next year. This may I will use it to tryout.

I bought a footprint to protect the bottom fabric of the tent. Footprint also enables so-called Fast fly installation, e.g. in the rain. So with this you can set up the outer tent first, so the inner tent doesn't get wet. Footprint also covers the apses, so the equipment is also protected from soil moisture. The corners are color-coded so it always goes right.

Essential purchase to go with the Copper Spur HV UL2 Bikepack, if you want to prolong the life and condition of your tent.

It does add extra weight and bulk when used with the Big Agnes Copper Spur HV UL2 Bikepack. However, it definitely helps to protect the tent floor from abrasion and allows items stored in the vestibules to be kept dry and/or provides of space for putting on and taking off shoes, etc, so for me it was worth the extra cost and weight. It also helps keep the inside of the tent free from condensation by providing and additional barrier between wet ground and the inside of the tent.
