Super Lightweight and very warm Shoes. Best Winter Shoes i ever owned. For how long we will see

Really warm, really comfortable. I would use more, but they don't really work outside of the coldest weather if you are busy at all. A wider last than in the summer versions, you can easily get a sock if you need it. They are so warm in themselves that you can do with a lighter one, and a good space with a wide flipper.

Having now both tested these boots during the cold winter that was 2023/2024, both in warmer winter weather (0 to -10*c) and also much more severe weather (blizzards and down to -25*c) as well as during a fishing trip up in the Arctic Ocean in northern Norway with varying temperatures, I can say that the build quality feels solid through and through, everything from the soles to the soles and shoelaces feel durable and have not proven fragile whether the boots have been exposed to warmer or colder weather, so well like a lot of snow and rain.
Long periods could be spent outside in cold conditions with completely normal socks without multiple layers of socks and the feet were kept warm.
So warm that going too much above the comfort level (ie warmer than -20) for a long time could even become sweaty instead. So make sure to primarily use them for colder weather for best comfort.
during the fishing trip the boots were exposed to constant salt water splashes, blood and fish slime, nothing has managed to germinate and the boots could easily be washed off with a brush and fresh water on the outside and then dried in the sun.
Absorbing any moisture from sweating was also easy with paper and active air flow over the shoes; the thick and comfortable inside therefore gave off the moisture easily, despite being relatively thick.
The boots are quite precise in their sizes, so if you expect to use these more in extreme conditions instead of in the comfort zone, you should think about going up half a size to have room to move your feet.
The boot's mobility is a little more limited than I'm used to, but that's probably directly related to its extreme cold resistance, it feels more like walking around in a pair of snowboard boots rather than a pair of hiking boots -Totally expected, but worth wearing consideration.
Overall, I'm extremely satisfied despite the extremely long delivery time (as I understood it, this model in my rather large size was on back order at Salomon for basically my entire waiting time and nothing could be done about it).
