Product description

The AdvancedFrame® Expedition Elite is the natural evolution of inflatable kayaks. A hybrid of a folding frame kayak and an inflatable kayak, the Expedition incorporates Advanced Elements proven aluminum rib-frame technology in the bow and stern, and Drop-stitch technology in the floor, to provide paddling performance that rivals that of a hard-shell kayak. Working together to deliver optimal paddling performance, the aluminum ribs form a shape that cuts through the water while the Drop-stitch floor provides unparalleled rigidity in an inflatable and creates hull chine. At 13’ long, with plenty of storage space, the Expedition Elite is the perfect kayak for any adventure!

Features Drop-stitch Technology
As shown in Advanced Elements inflatable standup paddle boards, drop-stitch technology allows Advanced Elements to create high pressure forms that are extremely rigid. The drop-stitch floor in this kayak creates a hull with chine, which enhances the tracking and hull speed, and adds unparalleled rigidity in an inflatable kayak.

Good Stability: Low center of gravity design provides good stability and easy paddling.
Multiple Chambers: 9 Chambers provide additional buoyancy and unique kayak shape.
Easy To Set Up: Twistlok™ valves and high flow Spring™ valves allow for quick setup time.
Comfortable: Raised deck and adjustable lumbar seat provides comfort for hours of paddling.
Hull Design: Built-in aluminum rib-frame technology in the bow and stern, and Drop-stitch technology in the floor, improves tracking, rigidity, and hull speed.

I have been on two long weekend kayaking trips, and I have been very satisfied with this one. In terms of space, on my own and in a group of 3 people, I was able to move things around very well: someone 180-185cm tall could fit a 20l duffel bag in the footwell and approx. 30-40l in the back. A very large daypack can be placed on top of the cover, which also protects the interior from getting wet in heavy rain. Directional and really stable even in slightly rougher waves (approx. 8m/s crosswind 11m/s gust). Some of the other kayaks tend to turn to the side at low speeds, but when paddling I didn't notice any turning to the side even in a strong wind. A little slower than a hard kayak, quite a normal paddling speed with a relaxed grip of approx. 6-7 km/h with travel gear. In my opinion, the installation and filling is not insurmountably difficult, a little more effort is needed in terms of drying and packaging. However, the parts fit quite well on the 2x3m balcony to dry.

I was a bit skeptical at first, but not anymore. Kuleek is a very leisurely camping pace without tearing up. When I finally got my own paddling mistake fixed, there was nothing wrong with the kayak's orientation (I didn't keep the paddles in the same position in the water on both sides). Ready for use Put the bag in the back of the car in water for approx. 15 minutes. It's slower the first couple of times, but once you know what to do and in what order, and you don't have to look for valves, filling is straightforward. Packing is slower: after a run, when tired, the kayak should be emptied (with a pump) and dried. Drying has not been a big deal: I remove the small cracks immediately after landing, then open the hatches and let the moisture evaporate in the wind. I will empty and pack the kayak a little later and so far there have been no problems. The dog didn't feel comfortable on the front deck, it didn't know how to relax on the flexible fabric. You couldn't hug if you were in the way of paddling. The back can hold maybe 50 liters in dry bags, a little in the bow (something small can fit on the front side of the footrest) and you can pack on top of the deck. I got a small cover bag for the bow, it has a camera and snacks. Rides surprisingly well in the wind, especially in crosswinds, smoothing the direction without separate corrections from either side was easy. The carrier is quite heavy. Flat bottom, there are small plastic guides in the bow and stern, I haven't tried Ksok, in the river the wake waves of the motor boat have not caused any problems. The side wave does rock, but it doesn't tip over. The included bag is a little bigger than what is needed for the canoe. I can at least get a paddle, a hole cover and a pump in the same bag. Even the life jacket has been able to fit in with really good wind. The bag has backpack straps, so you can carry it on your back even for short distances, as long as you don't have anything else to carry. To move from the parking lot to the water's edge, it is quite enough where the parking lot is a few hundred meters from the beach.

Great product, not yet tried but I can say aesthetically beautiful, easy to inflate. Otherwise, to talk about the site, I ordered the item when it was not on the shelf or store and relying only on the observation of availability and delivery time and well no regrets and good followed. Thanks to the site.
