I installed Voile Mountaineer bindings on my skis and have skied in the soft deep snow and so far only small pebbles. So far, the landing features feel great. Surprisingly good for carrying. In fresh snow, the coat slips on steeper inclines. The glide is also a little worse than I expected. I had no previous experience with their counterparts.
I would definitely recommend a try if you are interested in cross-country skiing in hilly landscapes!
