I bought the shoes solely for trail running (rocks, roots, rock climbs). The sole was quite slippery (on dry ground, I slipped on a rock if I jumped sideways) on the first run, but after a few kilometers I found really good grip and a really great sole. The arch support is a minus. My feet are quite narrow and that's why I chose these, since most of the others were already too wide all over. When you tighten the shoes to the hilt (almost closing the gap), there is still room for the toes to open properly and move, but without the extra strap, the heel still wouldn't stay in place. At this tightness, the arch support already weighs so much that the soles of my feet were cramping already during the first couple of minutes of preparation for the run. I've now left the shoes really loose, since with that extra strap the heel stays in place and I'm only trying to tighten a couple of rows properly. Everyone has talked about the feel now and it's not that bad, even if you try to jump on rocks and roots. But I still thought I'd run out of these shoes. The padding on the toe is nice and the lacing feels nice and doesn't press. The negative thing is that I think they're a bit hot in the heat. Especially when compared to my previous Asics or barefoot walking shoes. But since I bought them solely for running, it doesn't bother me personally. They were on a few days' trip to the cottage and were quite warm. I don't regret the purchase at all, but I'm unlikely to buy another pair. Maybe these are a good transition shoe for someone like me, since these are my first barefoot running shoes and specifically for trail running. If you want more feel, I've actually gotten used to short runs barefoot in the forest. P.S. The socks in the picture were changed to toe-type ones after the first run.

I bought these to replace my Merrell Vapor Gloves because I wanted a slightly more sturdy shoe for off-road use. I'm happy with the replacement and the shoes also work well for disc golf.

The sole is a little thicker than the previous generation, but still good shoes even though there is a little less feel for the ground.

For hiking, dry weather shoes. I finished my previous trip with the Kutos, so I liked walking in these so much that I won't go on any other trips. The Kutos have that little feature that, due to the thin soles, walking through the roots of the eastern Finnish pine forest is a rather emotional experience. That's why I've got these sevens, with slightly thicker soles, so that even the root gaps can be walked without any emotional outbursts.

It fits really well on the foot due to the width of the last and the grip of the sole on the terrain seems good.
