Product description

Durability with high functionality and comfort – Kajka 35 is an advanced trekking daypack that has been praised by hikers all over the world. One reason is its wooden frame construction made from FSC-certified birch, which together with the easily adjusted back length, makes Kajka a backpack designed to carry heavy loads so you can focus on hiking rather than back pain. The ergonomic shoulder straps and supportive hip belt with a pocket add even more functionality and comfort. Made from durable Vinylon F fabric with reinforcement fabric in recycled nylon. Add more storage to Kajka 35 by attaching Kajka Side Pockets to the loops on the sides; there are also loops on the front for attaching hiking poles/ice axes. The main compartment has an internal mesh pocket and full front zipper opening for easy organising and a great overview of contents. The top lid has three zippered pockets and can be detached and used as a crossbody bag. Two compression straps on each side provide even and effective compression while leaving the side pockets accessible.

Very nice backpack. The backpack is perfectly adjustable and surprisingly spacious. I can easily fit the stuff in it for a multi-day trip.

Style and substance. I tried a lot of different bags, this one is the only one that is a true piece of design - every little detail is considered like with all the other pro bags but this one is also beautiful while most are really ugly. They aren’t as ecological as say VAUDE for example (they need to pay workers across the entire chain a living wage which they don’t and they are not totally transparent like others), which made me hesitate but this bag really is so much better and they are not awful, especially as they have better policies in animal and planet treatment.

A high-quality ring. Good to carry on the back, thanks to the sturdy frame. The main pocket is also conveniently accessible from the side. The fabric of the ring has seemed to be of high quality.

The 35 l Kajka is a very good daypack. It has very separate pockets, some of which are easily accessible without taking the bag off your back. Rinkka is good to carry and it is very stable. Adding a load is hardly felt on the back. However, you should never get a rinka without arranging it. There is a lot of room for adjustment. Unfortunately, the back extension is made with Velcro - bigger Kajkos have a more durable mechanism.

What to consider when choosing a backpack?

Backpacks are often an indispensable accessory in daily life and when outdoors. For example, snacks and possible extra clothes or other items taken on a day trip need to be packed somewhere, and carrying them in a plastic bag on nature trails is not a very appealing idea. In d...
