- the heel height should be a little lower. Almost guaranteed to cause skin chafing
- putting the shoes on is a chore. The pull hook on the heel would help as before, but it has been removed
- the lace pocket is hidden under the lace. Good idea from the designer, but they forgot that the shoe has a lace lock right above the pocket
- the shoe is really, really narrow even by Salomon's standards.

Excellent training and racing shoes, one of my favorite Salomon shoes so far (and I've tried MANY of them). The sock-like fit inside is super comfy, and your foot feels secure on technical terrain. Might be a bit too narrow for people with wider feet, but if you've already used typically narrow Salomon shoes before, this shoe will probably fit well too.
