The 2Vi® technology platform provides a multifaceted approach to increased impact protection. Mips Air protects against rotational forces (the cause of the majority of concussions). Complex multi-density EPS shock absorbing structure with four impact shields (one in each corner of the head), increased coverage, and variable elasticity shell give the Bushwhacker helmet increased protection performance at both low- and high impact speeds without compromising on weight or volume. In 2023, the Bushwacker 2Vi received a full five-star rating in an unbiased and independent Virginia Tech cycling helmet test, which tested the ability of more than 200 helmets to reduce linear acceleration and rotational velocity of the head resulting from a range of head impacts a cyclist might experience.
