Katadyn BeFree 0.6 L is the perfect companion ono trail runs, moountain bike tours or fishing. Compact and ultralight hollow fiber filter that ony weighs 59 g. It is superlight to fill. This filter removes bacteria, cysts and sediment with its pore size on 0.1 micron (0.0001 mm). The collapsible flash packs small to fit into tight spaces such as running shorts, cycling jerseys, paddling or fishing vest.
The output is 2 L / min with a total capacity of 1000L, depending on the water quality. Easily clean the EZ-Clean Membrane by simply shaking or swishing the filter in the water - in the field or at home. No backflushing or tools necessary. 100% PVC and BPA free. Gives you the freedom to drink anytime, anywhere.

— Show original — Show originalIt worked well on a hike in Lapland. It was mainly used as a filter (I filled the Katadyn with water, then emptied the filtered water into my own bottles). If I were buying a new one now, I would probably get the 1l version if I only intended to use it as a filtering bottle, although the time savings would probably be small when filling the bottles.| Overall rating |

This size is perfect if you are just purifying water and not using it as a drinking bottle.So far works well (6-7 trips). Good flow rate, comfortable and easy to carry. I am not sure how long it would last though.
