Great bag! Solid build, and truly versatile. Capable of being squeezed down small when empty and has plenty of attachment points to "over load" if needed. The option to reach into the laptop compartment and the main compartment by a side zipper truly makes a difference in practicality. I looked for a pack that could "do it all", from EDC to travel to simple hiking, and it seems to be up to it. It is a bit heavy for the volume, but this is what you get for durability I guess. Carrying both laptop and tablet is a bit tight on the pockets there.

You still have to be sure to use these pockets (especially the front ones) because otherwise there is less volume for the main compartment, for the same bag volume. Not a fan of the classic opening from the top, I prefer that of the BLITZ 30 (like the Arc'teryx Assault) or even more that of the 2DAP / 3DAP. Finally sold to replace it with a 3DAP: once you have tested the 3-ZIP opening, it's difficult to go back! However, this bag, like the BLITZ 30, is really very interesting for those who need different pockets to stay organized at all times, with all the other qualities of Mystery Ranch (strength, adjustable back).| Overall rating |
