— Show originalAfter the previous Exped Duo mattress broke, I felt like trying something else. There is still little experience with this mattress, but unlike Expedi's mattress, with this mattress the pelvis of an approx. 80 kg side sleeper does not hit the ground and get sore during the night. The good things about Expedi's mattress were the separate sections for both sleepers, a slightly smaller package size and faster filling. The advantage of Big Agnes is a better R-value and the comfort brought by the thickness. I personally appreciate the fact that at night I don't have to roll from side to side because of my aching hip, so at least with this experience I am satisfied with the product.| Overall rating |
Quite happy with the mattress. Fits two people perfectly, reasonable weight, at 1 Kg it's like carrying 500g each. It is very comfortable, compact, well-built quality and looks durable. The folding procedure is quite straight forward once you have done it a couple of times. So far only used over 5 C temperatures with a double quilt and totally isolated the ground. Pretty sure it'll work fine for lower temperatures as well. The inflation sack is quite light and allows for complete inflation after 10-12 rounds.
