The Lafayette GPS Mini is a highly practical and lightweight GPS tracker, weighing just 120 grams. It is completely waterproof due to its lack of connectors. The GPS Mini charges wirelessly, and the package includes a QI charger that connects easily via a USB cable. Constructed from durable plastic, the device is designed to endure extreme conditions.

This GPS Mini comes equipped with a bark alert and a bark counter. Lafayette's unique bark counter filters sound accurately and identifies incoming noises, minimizing false alerts, such as when the dog runs through dense vegetation or the collar drags on the ground. Only the dog's barks are recorded and displayed in the app, both as a count and as a color-coded route.

A notable feature is the ability to adjust device settings while it communicates with the user. Typically, this occurs during positioning intervals, which can slow down some systems. However, the Lafayette GPS ensures that commands and settings are transmitted in no more than 30 seconds, even with longer positioning intervals. If the positioning interval permits, settings are sent even faster.
