Based on my travel backpack comparison, this also works best as a regular backpack: the main compartment has two separate zippers and you don't have to use the inner pocket separating the sections. The straps (hip belt, etc.) are also removable, although removing them requires a bit of nerve and time. Really neat and restrained in style. A surprisingly wide backpack, but on the other hand, it doesn't protrude too much from the back and the weight comes closer to the back. The back panel is really sturdy, but also heavy. The weight on the back doesn't feel the same way though. Comfortable to wear and carry.

Excellent and versatile back bag. Good quality and expandable with ie bungee cords. Highly recommended for traveling.
