Product descriptionPRODUCT DETAILS
The Breakthrough Clean Technologies® Suppressor Cleaner is a water-based, ammonia-free, cleaner that removes heavy carbon and lead deposits. Utilizing a proprietary blend of chemical surfactants and detergents, Suppressor Cleaner effectively works to neutralize all corrosive residues preventing damaging rust and corrosion without etching or harming your suppressor. With no noxious fumes or hazardous chemicals, Suppressor Cleaner is a safe and effective choice when it comes to removing stubborn carbon & lead build-up in your suppressor. There are a variety of ways to clean a suppressor based on the construction. Some suppressors can be disassembled, but many cannot. Breakthrough Clean Technologies® Suppressor Cleaner has been refined using modern chemistry to tackle this difficult task. It has been rigorously tested by Breakthrough Clean Technologies® and suppressor manufacturers with impressive results. The recommended cleaning process is submersion in the Suppressor Cleaner. The duration needed depends on the cleanliness of the suppressor. If you are cleaning on a regular schedule that coincides with the cleaning of the firearm, it could be leaving the suppressor in the cleaner for as little as one hour. However, if cleaning the suppressor after multiple significant shooting sessions, it may require soaking for 8-12 hours to get the caked on contaminates to release. After soaking, shoot several rounds (supersonic is recommended) through the suppressor to eject the loosened fouling.
