A woodcock bird permit covers all small game hunting and also the right to hunt bear. Permits are only sold for the hen season.

The hunting areas of this permit include the areas shown on the map: Jokilampi, Maaninka, Oulanka, Rikinkangas, Särkiluoma and Ölkky.

Please note that in June 2021, storm Paula caused significant storm damage in the plots of Etelä-Kuusamo (especially in the Särkiluoma plot) and the storm-damaged areas have had to be extensively re-cultivated.

INSTRUCTIONS FOR PURCHASING PERMITS

• Put the number of hunters in the "quantity" field and choose the day you want.
• Enter the names (first and last name) of the hunting license holders in the "Names of license holders" section. There must be as many names of license holders as there are hunters.
• If you want to buy permits for several days, add the days one by one to the shopping cart according to the previous instructions.
• If you want hunting permits in paper form, add the Catch Notification product to the shopping cart.

The hunting permit is in electronic form and is sent to the indicated e-mail address. Always check the content of the order confirmation ( time, region and names of license holders). The order confirmation, maps of the area and any license conditions are delivered with the order confirmation. The maps and permit conditions must be read carefully before starting the hunt. Hunting restrictions should also be taken into account.

All plots belonging to the permit area can be downloaded to the map on the mobile phone in the free Tracker application using the Oma riista IDs (in the Tracker, menu Maps-Oma riista-add Area ID). My game ID is delivered with the order confirmation and can be seen at the top of the map that came with the permit. The Tracker application can be downloaded to your phone from the Google Play store or the Apple AppStore with the search term "Tracker".

The order confirmation acts as a hunting permit, so print it out and take the permit and proof of payment with you to the forest. In addition, an identity document must be included. Always keep them with you when you hunt.

NOTE Hunting permits are reserved only after you have pressed the Send order button at the checkout. If the permits have been sold out for the products in your shopping cart while you are preparing the order, the permits will not be purchased.

Please note that purchased permits do not have the right of return, change or exchange. Also, the names of license holders cannot be changed afterwards.

The licensee has the legal responsibility of the holder of the hunting right for the damages caused by hunting, and the licensee thus undertakes to compensate for all the damages that he himself or the helpers or dogs used in hunting have caused.

Not all lands in the joint forest belong to the permit area. Please note that by purchasing a permit, you only get the right to hunt in the areas marked on the permit map. Always check that hunting is allowed in the area you are passing through.

THE LICENSE BUYER'S RIGHT TO CANCEL THE PAID LICENSE

The buyer of the permit has the right to cancel the permit and get back the price paid, less office costs of 13 euros, if it would be unreasonable to require him to use the permit he acquired because he or someone close to him suddenly becomes seriously ill, has a serious accident, or dies. (a close person is considered to be a spouse, common-law partner, child, parent, parent-in-law, sibling, grandchild and grandparent), or another unexpected and serious event happens to him, due to which it would be unreasonable to require him to use the license he has acquired. Another unexpected and serious event is, for example, significant damage to property, such as a fire in an apartment. Serious damage does not include the illness or death of a dog or the breaking down of a car.

The license buyer must notify the license seller of the cancellation without delay. The obstacle to the use of the license must be proven with a reliable report, such as a medical certificate, police investigation report or insurance company's statement as soon as possible and no later than two weeks after the appearance of the obstacle entitling to cancellation, unless compliance with the deadline is unreasonably difficult for the buyer. If the cancellation for the reasons mentioned above is made after the validity period of the permit has already started, the price of the permit will not be reimbursed.

FOWL HUNTING TERMS
With this permit you can hunt game listed in the following listing.

You get 5 hunting points per day (eg three days = 15 points). With hunting points you are allowed to hunt game with the following values
- Capercaillie 10 points
- black grouse 5 points
- willow grouse 5 points PROTECTED
- Hazel grouse 2 points
- goose 10 points
- other waterbirds 2 points
- other bird game 1 point
- rabbits 2 points
- Beaver 5 points
- small Predators 0 points

Note: with one day license you are not allowed to hunt Capercaillie nor goose.



OTHER TERMS.
- Steel and Wolfram shots are forbidden.
- You are allowed to make a fire from sticks from the ground.
- You are not allowed to cancel and get your money back from your hunting license experience in a case of force majeure caused by illness of yourself or your family member.
