For enhanced protection, users can add hard armor plates available separately, compatible with NIJ III and NIJ IV standards. The durable outer shell is crafted from Foxdura 500 polyurethane IRR material, while the interior is lined with soft polyamide. The MOLLE system covers the entire exterior, including the cummerbunds, providing versatile attachment options. The cummerbunds also include pockets for soft ballistic panels or hard armor plates, along with elastic loops to securely hold magazines and small accessories like first aid kits. The front of the carrier features elastic loops for conveniently routing communication cables or hydration tubes, and an integrated admin pouch at the top front offers storage for mobile devices, notepads, or snacks. Removable shoulder pads with MOLLE webbing enhance comfort and functionality. The plate carrier can be further customized with additional protection options such as groin, shoulder/arm, and neck/throat guards.
