A wildfowl permit covers all small game hunting as well as bear hunting. Permits are only sold for the wildfowl season.

Please note that Storm Paula caused significant storm damage in June 2021 in the South Kuusamo plots of the shared forest (especially the Särkiluoma plot), and the storm-damaged areas have had to be extensively re-cultivated.

INSTRUCTIONS FOR BUYING PERMITS

• Enter the number of hunters in the "quantity" field and select the desired day.
• Write the names (first and last name) of the hunting permit holders in the "Names of permit holders" section. There should be as many names of permit holders as there are hunters.
• If you want to purchase permits for multiple days, add the days individually to your shopping cart according to the previous instructions.
• If you want hunting permits in paper form, add the Catch Notification product to your shopping cart.

The hunting permit is in electronic form and will be sent to the email address provided. Always check the content of the order confirmation ( time, area and names of the permit holders). The order confirmation will be accompanied by an order confirmation, maps of the area and any permit conditions. The maps and permit conditions should be carefully studied before starting the hunt. Hunting restrictions should also be taken into account.

All plots within the permit area can be downloaded to a map on a mobile phone using the free Tracker application Oma riista (My Game) identifiers (in Tracker, go to the Maps-My Game-add Area ID menu). The My Game ID is delivered with the order confirmation and appears at the top of the map that comes with the permit. The Tracker application can be downloaded to a phone from the Google Play store or the Apple AppStore by searching for "Tracker".

The order confirmation serves as a hunting permit, so print it out and take the permit and receipt of payment with you to the forest. You must also have an ID. Always keep them with you when you hunt. Also print out the maps that come with it to the forest.

NOTE: Hunting permits are only reserved after you have pressed the Submit Order button at checkout. If permits are sold out for the products in your shopping cart while you are preparing your order, the permits will not be purchased.

Please note that purchased permits cannot be returned, changed or exchanged. The names of the permit holders cannot be changed afterwards.

The permit holder has the legal responsibility for any damage caused by hunting, and the permit holder therefore undertakes to compensate for all damage caused by him/herself or by assistants or dogs used during hunting.

Not all of the land in the shared forest is included in the permit area. Please note that by purchasing a permit, you only get the right to hunt in the areas marked on the permit map. Always check that hunting is allowed in the area you are traveling to.

THE RIGHT OF THE PERMIT PURCHASER TO CANCEL THE PAID PERMIT

The purchaser of the permit has the right to cancel the permit and receive a refund of the price paid, less office costs of 13 euros, if it would be unreasonable to require him to use the permit he has purchased because he himself or a person close to him suddenly becomes seriously ill, has a serious accident or dies. (A close person is considered a spouse, common-law partner, child, parent, parent-in-law, sibling, grandchild and grandparent), or if another unexpected and serious event occurs to him, due to which it would be unreasonable to require him to use the permit he has purchased. Other unexpected and serious events include, for example, significant damage to property, such as a fire in a home. Serious damage is not considered to be the illness or death of a dog or the breakdown of a car.

The permit purchaser must notify the permit seller of the cancellation without delay. The impediment to the use of the permit must be demonstrated by reliable evidence, such as a medical certificate, police investigation report or insurance company statement, as soon as possible and no later than two weeks after the impediment entitling the cancellation arises, unless compliance with the deadline is unreasonably difficult for the purchaser. If the cancellation for the above reasons is made after the permit validity period has already begun, the permit price will not be reimbursed.

FOWL HUNTING TERMS
With this permit you can hunt game listed in the following listing.

You get 5 hunting points per day (eg three days = 15 points). With hunting points you are allowed to hunt game with the following values
- capercaillie 10 points
- black grouse 5 points
- willow grouse 5 points PROTECTED
- hazel grouse 2 points
- goose 10 points
- other waterbirds 2 points
- other bird game 1 point
- rabbit 2 points
- beaver 5 points
- small predators 0 points

Note: with one day license you are not allowed to hunt Capercaillie nor goose.



OTHER TERMS.
- Steel and Wolfram shots are forbidden.
- You are allowed to make a fire from sticks from the ground.
- You are not allowed to cancel and get your money back from your hunting license experience in a case of force majeure caused by illness of yourself or your family member.

There are wind turbines in the Kauniskangas section of the Kuusamo shared forest, in Etelä-Suomussalmi near the Hyrynsalmi border, and in the terrain between Loukkuskangas and Iso Palovaara. Special care must be taken when hunting in the area of ​​wind turbines. In shooting situations, it is absolutely important to ensure that the shot does not cause damage to the wind turbines or the buildings or structures of the wind farm. The holder of a hunting permit is responsible for all damage caused.
