Standard product, brand new, as advertised. I confirm that the Am'D screw lock is the same carabiner that comes with the Avao Fast harness (I took it as I wanted a second one, even though I knew it would not come with the plastic piece to prevent it from rotating). An "OK" carabiner would work as well, in my opinion (maybe better as it is fully symmetrical). I would not advise replacing the Am'D by an Sm'D, because Sm'D is a bit smaller (even though it has an additional feature : the little hole). Thrust me, I have all of those. I love the Petzl carabiners because they all have the red marker when not screwed : less risk to miss it.

High quality. Visually easy to check that it is locked, thanks to the colored zone.
