A very durable and functional mechanism and device. Reasonably priced and clearly a lifelong purchase. To attract the rabbit, you can use freshly squeezed apple juice to make scent sticks that lead to the trap. The trap goes conveniently and inconspicuously, for example, under a gooseberry bush. Pea shoots, apples and dill stalks are good bait for rabbits, they like them. You can get a permanent bait from the pot, which can be refreshed by watering. I have also caught two young, curious magpies.

The rabbit trap is quite practical and easy to use. The catch has not yet come, but I wonder if that too will happen

The trap could be a little more sensitive. Sometimes I pre-tighten the shutter button with a weight.

This is a good trap. Clearly very high quality and durable. There is experience of using it for a few months in the autumn in Helsinki. Usage tips: 1) Apply grass, tree leaves, etc. to the bottom of the trap. as a carpet so that the rabbit would not feel the bare wire mesh on its feet but dare to walk in the trap. 2) Lower a cover over the tuned trap so that the trap becomes a tunnel. The carpet in the hallway is good because it can withstand rain and freezing and is easy to clean from debris. It is obviously natural for rabbits to seek shelter in tunnels and tunnels. The cover also protects the trap mechanisms from hoarfrost and snow. 3) Carrots work well as bait, at least when temperatures remain above zero. Cut the carrot into three parts, for example, and place one piece at the entrance to the trap so that it is visible from afar, another piece on the step board that triggers the trap hatch and a third at the back of the trap so that it is visible from the other end of the tunnel. 4) By observing the tracks from the snowman, you can learn where the rabbits move and therefore where to place the trap. 5) A small reflector on the edge of the door, so you can see from further afield whether the door is still open or whether you have to go on the spot to check the situation. I myself have 1 trap in the small yard of a detached house. There was no prey in September, but when the wife came up with the idea of making a carpet from the cut yard grass, the prey has already been caught six times in five weeks.
