I got these for rock climbing and frisbee golf to treat my "golf elbow". Stays well in place and comfortable to use. It doesn't affect the performance in any way. The size corresponds to the manufacturer's measurements. If you're on the size limit, get bigger or else your fingers will swell. The same manufacturer's model 486, on the other hand, was difficult to use, i.e. there was no way to adjust the correct compression.
