I made the mistake of buying much cheaper active earmuffs from a competing brand and after only a short time of use I found them unusable for hunting. There is no problem with these, I read somewhere that they can squeeze too much if you have a big head. I have an XXL size cap and I haven't had any problems with these, to quote a condom brand; they squeeze in just the right place. The only downside I can think of with these is that they lack Bluetooth. But when I knew what I was buying, I didn't give them any stars, 5/5 product

These hearing protectors are extremely good! Well made and very comfortable. In my opinion you’re getting top quality hearing pro before you make the major jump up to a CompTac or equivalent but you’re also spending over a thousand bucks. Maybe worth it if you’re a professional operator or you wear them all day every day but not for semi occasional use in my opinion. I hear a lot of complaints about the battery insertion and removal. I really don’t see what the fuss is all about. It takes 2 seconds. I would say that for those of you with rather large heads you may want to try before you buy. Their range of adjustment isn’t as much as it should be in my opinion. They fit me fine but I have them maxed out. A great product. 4 stars

Used at an indoor shooting range with a pistol. Works really well on the "Shooting" profile. My first active hearing protectors. Originally, I was also going to buy them with gel cups, as people praised them online for how much better they would be - but it's worth reading Sordin's own test results, the gels lose significantly in attenuation versus those standard PVCs at 500Hz and 1000Hz. I have glasses with thin temples, and those PVCs close around the temples just fine - gels may be better for some temple models, but it's worth starting with those PVCs ;) I don't have any of Star Trek's Spock's ears, but the cup in these is smaller than in the old Peltos bulls eye hearing protectors.
