Sordin Supreme Pro-X Hearing Protector

Used at an indoor shooting range with a pistol. Works really well on the "Shooting" profile. My first active hearing protectors. Originally, I was also going to buy them with gel cups, as people praised them online for how much better they would be - but it's worth reading Sordin's own test results, the gels lose significantly in attenuation versus those standard PVCs at 500Hz and 1000Hz. I have glasses with thin temples, and those PVCs close around the temples just fine - gels may be better for some temple models, but it's worth starting with those PVCs ;) I don't have any of Star Trek's Spock's ears, but the cup in these is smaller than in the old Peltos bulls eye hearing protectors.

At least so far it has worked great. Inserting the batteries requires dexterity.

The headband of the protectors is made too small for the head. Impossible to use with a beanie. Otherwise good protectors.

Very good headphones. However, the batteries that came with the product oxidized after a year, so they had to replace the insides during service. It was under warranty.

Excellent cups, I can't say anything about the durability of the batteries yet, but they will last a long time. They fit my head well with the gel pads, but the headband has to be pulled to the extreme position in that case.

The best price-quality ratio. They collect the ears really well. despite the bulletproof glasses. There was no need for double hearing protection.
