Product description

Great backcountry ski boot with special, anatomically designed footbed, Alpitex Waterproof Membrane and Thinsulate insulation! Leather and textile upper is durable and looks pretty darn good. Suiteble for Rottefella NNN BC bindings.

Alpinas own Alpitex Waterproof Membrane makes the boot water-resistant while keeping the boot well ventilated so it is pretty awesome boot to cover your feet on the spring time ski tours. Anatomic footbed will assure the perfect fit and even distribution of force. And finally, the insulation by Thinsulate. Thinsulate insulation system guarantees conditions for the feet that are twice as warm than other boots. The lining lets your feet breathe and regulate the natural physical feeling of the foot.

We recommend to choose one size bigger shoe size than you would normally do since the sizing of this boot is quite tight.

  • Toe box protection
  • Thinsulate insulation
  • Speed lacing system
  • Soft collar
  • Natural leather
  • Medium boot flex
  • Anatomic footbed
  • Alpitex membrane

The approximate size of the packed product or the sales package is 445 x 400 x 150 mm.

This is my second pair of Alaska NNN BC boots. The first are still going strong after 6 years but I wanted another set so I could always keep a pair in the car during the winter in case some untracked snow beckoned from the roadside.

Comfortable as can be. Provides adequate support and flexibility. Also works great for touring. Unfortunately, they haven't been tested in wet weather yet.

In the wet weather I would have needed a membrane. The leather of the second night tore on the third hike. I repaired it with jesar.

Good boots to put on and ski, but the nubuck leather sticks to the snow very well. On multi-day trips it can be quite icy without diligent brushing or boot protection. However, it has not been so icy that I could not put them on. When skiing, I have used vbl socks with these.

I bought these for touring skating and they have worked well. I would give them five stars if the lacing system was smarter. Good boot anyway.

I haven't had a chance to test it yet. Of the many winter boots I've tried, these seem to fit my feet the best so far.

Very good touring ski boots. The only downside is that these don't have a removable inner part to dry after a day of skiing, but this feature was known when buying, so it's not a problem in itself.

Buy one size up from normal (e.g. Meindl) shoe sizes, fits nicely then!

I'm looking for so-called back country skiing, where sometimes you make the tracks yourself. or let's go freely on the stump, get a sturdy and warm enough ski boot for all winter skiing conditions. Now I found it, the last just fits the slightly wide and high arch shape of the foot. The comfort is better than in any previous ski boot and the lacing system is functional.
