Due to its size and desing this Lapp knife is an excellent general purpose knife, suitable for both trappers and hunters.

The Lapp knife 230 is one of Marttiinis most popular knives and continues to maintain its place at the top of the sales ratings after many years of continuous production. The knife is excellent for hikers and hunters who are active knife users, and it also makes an ideal present or souvenir from a trip to Finland.

The stainless chrome steel blade features a beautiful etched engraving depicting a Lappish theme, whilst the pattern on the sheath also reflects a strong Lappish heritage.

This knife is also available with a finger guard (Lapp Knife 235).

I don't know what has happened in the alloy or whether it is second-rate Lapinleuk. Deep notches in the blade in normal use. In addition, near the tip of the metal torn, where now the barb. If you try to grind the above point, there will be a bigger notch in it. Poor quality at least what I bought. Should have been returned immediately.

The Lapinleuku 230 is a very beautiful and well-made work knife for everyone who is out and about in the great outdoors. the polished and engraved stainless steel blade is 11cm long, 2.2cm high and 3mm wide and is very sharp with a Scandinavian cut. The blade sits in a very well and beautifully processed birch wood handle that lies very comfortably in the hand. The sheath is also very well made and neatly processed and is a real eye-catcher due to its decorations, in which the knife sits perfectly and tightly. A knife for eternity, if it receives a little care, because I've had the brother of this knife for well over 50 years and it still does its job perfectly.
