— Show originalThe damping power for such a thin recoil guard is surprisingly good, but unfortunately not as good as the manufacturer suggests: the damping power runs out when firing with heavy rifle cartridges (tested with a hunting-style and mouth-braking 338 Lapua Magnum caliber weapon). The guard also does not stay in place very well due to the way it is attached. For those looking for proper damping performance, I recommend turning your gaze to the Past Super Mag recoil protection, where the fastening method is also more secure with the belt fastening.
