Product description

Exceptionally strong and reliable tunnel tent for winter expeditions in Arctic conditions. A prize-winning model with all details designed to withstand extreme stress and so that they can be handled with thick gloves on. The tent comes with double sets of DAC Pressfit poles for excellent stability in high winds. In addition, the strong 75D polyester fabric gives a tent that is not affected by moisture or temperature changes. Perfect for long ski touring trips and other adventures in demanding winter climates.

A number of specialised features simplify tent life and make it possible to make camp and get into shelter quickly. Silicon-treated pole sleeves and fox feet with a fast-release system make pitching and taking down the tent fast and easy. Snow skirts around the tent stop snow drifting into the vestibule and inner tent, and snow vents in both vestibule doors mean you can put out a saucepan to collect snow for melting without leaving the security of the tent or letting wind and drifting snow into the vestibule. The snow vents also make it possible to pass equipment from the vestibule to expedition members working outside the tent. Durable, reflective guylines in Dyneema, with double adjustments so their length can be altered in two places – practical when pegs are covered with snow and ice. Tent pegs are extra long (20cm) and sturdy for stable anchoring in difficult terrain.

Full height in the entire inner tent and the extra large vestibule gives room for gear, cooking and carrying out tasks. A clothesline in the vestibule and three in the inner tent can be used to dry equipment and ten mesh pockets keep small items organised. Large, highly positioned vents give excellent airflow and minimise condensation, but can also be completely closed when needed.

The tent's orange colour has been chosen for high visibility in winter landscapes and its extra large reflective details make it visible in the dark. A pack bag for snow pegs (an accessory) is included.

Great tent, Strong and well ventilated. It comes with double poles! I personally think, that for a great winter expedition tent, that it should come with proper snow/sand stakes at least 30cm long, and a tent bag for on the pulk (with poles already extended). It seems better to me to pay a little more and have it expedition ready! ...Great tent otherwise.
