Yes, here the rope goes to the hall. There are no tightenings like a rubber band and no carrying system, so if this doesn't sink into the backpack or is otherwise attached, I wouldn't take it out. The material also doesn't seem to withstand hard use, but it's hard to say at this early stage. The price is right for this.
