The shoes are perfect for what I have been looking for in a barefoot shoe! These ones (Skinners 2.0) feel like walking around with only socks, but with the security of a strong, protective sole. I've walked 10km or more every day since I got them, and I've had no issues. Walking in cities are a bit more strenuous, as it is with all barefoot shoes, because asphalt and concrete is hard to walk on for any length of time, but as your feet, ancles, and legs get used to the springy step you get more and more comfortable with it. The shoes feel great in both woodlands and rocky terrain! The feet grip naturally over and around rocks and roots, and the tactile feel of the terrain is very satisfying. I've worn them when swimming as well, and they hold up great. I was swimming and walking on the rocky shores of Malta, but I haven't used them on sandy beaches yet, so I can't speak on how they feel in sand. When wearing the shoes without socks inside and without the inner sole, they can be walked with comfortably even when they're wet, and they dry remarkably quickly. The store handled my order really quickly, and shipping was flawless. I received them two days after ordering (DHL from Finland to Norway).

I'll give it 4 stars at this point. There was still half a meter of snow, so I put it on indoors and walked a few steps. My feet are usually a size 45. Those Skinners are a size 45-46. It felt like they shouldn't have been any tighter. The quality seemed good when I tried them on.

I am an older man with paralysis in one leg. I wear these as indoor shoes all year round and also outdoors in the summer. The socks are not slippery on any floor covering. They give a good feel to the surface, which is important, for example, when I do woodturning.
Now I have bought three more pairs, three pairs have already been worn out.
