The Wide Version has a standard heel, but is wider at the forefoot and ball of the foot. Say goodbye to pressure points. And the GORE-TEX lining keeps your feet dry in wet conditions.

Now that I went on my first hikes for a total of about 30km, the comfort disappeared from the soles.
The soles of the shoes feel really hard against the soles of the feet. The last kilometers felt like walking on concrete. The sole has partially sunk in, so it's no wonder.
Now if I can find decent new insoles for my shoes, I can dare to go on another trip.| Overall rating |

— Show originalNew review: shoes re-ordered. Leather seems different; seems like a 'plastic' outer layer instead of the usual soft leather. Otherwise as I have been used to for years.
Previous review: Super fit, hardly have to break them in, good waterproof (regular greasing of course).
I do wear them out within a year (especially the attachment of the sole at the bending fold) and the insoles could have more footbed and wear out less quickly.| Overall rating |
