Having tested many Salomon and other similar shoes, I found a winning pair for my feet. Good shock absorption, wide last and good grip on varied terrain. Quick lock is a plus. The only thing that remains to be seen is how well the taped seams withstand hard use, after a couple of months there is nothing to complain about so far.

A couple of speedcrosses have become a used puncture and now the slope grabbed a slightly higher arm. Fits well on the leg, instant recording works, etc. Button shopping!

Here, on a few run-in loops, there were perfect pops in the wet forest for watering. The grip doesn't seem to end at all. Update to the situation: started to smell absolutely absurdly bad, no matter how much dry. Cannot be stored indoors in the house.
