Excellent fit, support and all-around quality. Scarpa Mescalito replaced a pair of discontinued Scarpa Zen Pro(s). While they are both considered an "approach" shoe, they beat out the best "hiking" shoes for comfort, support and durability. Have mid-foot osteoarthritis, and these shoes go a long way to help keep me on the trails.
