Goes into the barrel conveniently from the nozzle and spreads over the entire inner surface. No need, or even worth, to use after each shot. Best suited for annual intensive cleaning. After processing 10-15 shots, then you can check the focus again. Between shots, you should then use gun oil, which removes and protects gunpowder, copper, and other debris. One star off the "drought" of the product. Could be foam thicker and wetter. Now it feels like it dries the barrel if you let it last for a minute too long.
