Really functional and warm jacket for winter. Not as thick as many other Fjällräven winter parka, but goes even in severe frosts by modifying the entire full middle layer. -20’C weather t-shirt, thick sweater and this jacket was still comfortable. I wear L-size in general (181/90) and in this jacket L was perfect. Very pleased.

A jacket that looks very high quality, as it should be at this price. The winter had already passed a bit for this year, so the frost experiments were limited, but yes with this windy -10 weather it turned out quite nicely without thick interlayers. This is a decent winter jacket, although it is not the thickest end of Fjällräven and I would at least recommend this rather than thicker models, at least if you are going to move a little or not quite in the cold. The size is so fair that even in the harshest frosts, it is possible to dress thickly. And the good thing about moving is that the jacket would seem to breathe pretty well. The S-size is not short at all for the slim 180-centimeter, but even for the length of the sleeves and hem, and the jacket is loose anyway. The back hem comes just below the mid-thigh, so it’s a surprisingly long jacket. There is no actual breast pocket, as other commentators mentioned, but at least my jacket has a pocket inside the lower hem. The collar is high, which makes it a bit more difficult to use without a hood, but on the other hand increases the thermal value of the jacket if you can close the zipper all the way up. The hood from the collar works well and the hood can be made into a tight tunnel. I haven’t had any problems starting the zipper, but indeed for a high collar, it’s sometimes a little tricky to close.

Strong jacket! Seems good quality. I chose my normal size (M) smaller (s) because the size dimension is quite fair. Quite a good choice for outdoor activities and a mobile lifestyle. The hood and collar provide good protection and have space and adjustment possibility. On the downside, a zipper that is difficult to use and quite small buttoned chest pockets. The inside barge would also be nice, it's missing. Anyway, I recommend!

Yes, cool ... great product and not complicated service... only shipping to Germany took some time, but this is probably due to the carrier... Varuste is cool and the product is excellent...

Based on a few days of winter hiking, I can recommend a jacket. The hood is excellent, the cuffs have a really loose dimensioning but also a good tightening, which means that the gloves get under or on. The zipper between the little shoe and the chest pockets could be even bigger for the map. It would also be nice to have a breast pocket under the mountain for a cell phone or camera batteries, etc. The sizing is really fair, at first it felt unnecessarily big but it can hold both a thick fleece and a down jacket underneath and still works well, but the jacket doesn't feel too big even with thin layers. In other words, it is versatile when layering can make a big difference. Time will then show how to withstand heavy use in a long run, hopefully it will last!

Just the right winter hiking jacket for a man. The longer model protects the lower back, the hood is perfect for wind and gusts. The padding of the jacket is not too heavy.

The jacket is good looking and warm. At the latest when the hood is put on the head, start offering. There are enough pockets and they are big. The jacket is also suitable for urban use, where I wear it myself. The zipper is sometimes a bit awkward to close, but it is also stretched in use. Overall I am very satisfied with the jacket and I think its sustainable use over the years.
