One of the best piece's of gear in my collection. Likely going to get the jerven original too.

Great bag, doesn't seem to gather much condensation when used as bivy bag.

The extreme works great, high quality and very warm. I previously had the Hunter and it has also worked for me that I have asked for the extreme to have an extra isolation. With the Hunter I have used it as a cover for the hammock, bivouac and sleeping bag at 6⁰C with just a thermal shirt and it works very well. With the extreme I hope it works the same but with some degree below zero. Also now that I have 2 they can be perfectly connected to make a bivouac and sleeping bag for 2 people

Very fast and reliable delivery and processing, thanks for that! .-)
The goods are processed very well and the long-term test is still pending.
Currently tested at -5 degrees with a summer sleeping bag, it was cozy and warm.
The Jerven is well worth the money and is sure to serve its purpose for many years to come.
best regards from the Odenwald

Excellent, very happy with the Extreme version. The insulation is so much thicker than the original Thermo version for a rel. small weight gain overall. While I'm not 100% sure if the shell material has changed in all models since 2008, my last Jerven purchase, the rescue orange material in this model feels more robust than my old ones. I wasn't too sure I'd like the large folding/rolling pillow style bag on the rescue version vs. the tube style bag of the other patterns but actually I now rather like it; compresses well when in transport yet for storage the open square form works great in its uncompressed state. Excellent & fast service from Varuste as usual.

Excellent product, Jerven quality par excellence! It's solid, no fear that it will tear, you can have 100% confidence that it holds the rain and the wind. A pleasure to use as a sleeping bag and to know that whatever the weather conditions, we will sleep well, dry and warm! So strong that you can make a hammock out of it and it's even the best as a picnic blanket (a little overkill but it's great to have a product that can do it all, summer and winter!). I'm fed up with fragile gore-tex or air mattresses that deflate, that's indestructible and looks ready to be used by my grandchildren in 200 years without a problem ...

The Jerven Extreme is a great part of any outdoor kit. Any piece of gear that has multiple uses for Cover is an asset for outdoor adventures. This is very well made and I love the mountain camo pattern.

I'm glad I own a Jervenduk Extreme. It can be used in several different ways (eg windbag, sleeping bag, reinforcement layer, hammock, underlay mat). Jervenduken Extreme has very good insulation properties, but one thing you really need to keep in mind as a user and it is not overemphasized on product pages or at retailers (maybe such an obvious thing?): inferior. Jervenduken Extreme may replace a sleeping bag in winter, but it definitely does not replace a sleeping pad. If you sleep e.g. in a hammock outside without wearing a thicker and compression-resistant insulation such as a classic sleeping pad at any degree of minus, you will feel the cold penetrating your body from below and then you will wake up really early as well, slightly cooled down. A tip is to read carefully what jerven.com writes about his entire series, and also watch some YouTube videos about Jervenduken. You should bring a sleeping pad and if it is cold outside, you may also need a lighter sleeping bag. Feel free to test near the home first before heading out for a chilly winter night. :)
Here is advice that should perhaps come with the product as an instruction booklet: https://www.jerven.com/the-jerven-bag_1

As expected, the heat and moisture insulation is excellent. I sleep in my sleeping bag on ISO mats in the Jerven-Extreme outdoors (-5 ° C) on the floor, it is pleasantly warm and dry all night, and in the morning the outside of the Jerven-Extreme is evenly full of hoarfrost. This is called isolation!
The quality of materials and workmanship is always perfect at Jerven.

Yes, the hubby is getting better now! And at the break, it’s convenient to put on so the cold can’t come as a surprise after a sweat move. And again, the handy put back in the bag as the journey continues. When sledding, the line does not bite. And the snow doesn’t wet the outerwear when you protect yourself under this.
