My favourite crampons by far, low weight and quick to get off and on

Light and effective - folding ability is great! Pack small and easy to use. The anti-balling plates are effective but not as good as Grivel.

The product is fantastic. The shipping from Varuste was spectacular. I expected the shipment to take at leat 2-3 weeks but it it arrived in Australia (from Helsinki) in four days. I'll be ordering more equipment from Varuste in the future.

The build quality of Petzl products is second to none! These crampons are intuitive, robust and provide a high level of security on steep ice and snow.

Extremely packable and lightweight crampons. These are great for ski touring - note that the aluminum back points will easily dull on contact with any rock. Changing the toe bail between semiautomatic and fully automatic is extremely onerous, but doable. Tip: install the crampons on your boot the night before to allow the cordelette frame to stretch out - readjust the cord to the correct tautness the morning of your tour/climb. These crampons are best used with a ski boot or stiff soled (full shank) mountaineering boot as they do not have a metal crossbar to provide support.

easy ordering, fast shipping, great product. The hybrid IRVIS weighs nearly 1lb less than the standard steel/steel. Crampon fits 2021 technica guide pro perfectly. Have used in the field and they're a robust mountaineering tool suitable for glacier and WI1-2 ice.

Uber-happy with these! I use them on my ski boots and I also appreciate the steel fronts for longevity.

I haven't used it yet but tried it both on my hiking boots and ski boots. Easy to adjust and install...can't wait to be on the mountain with it !

great lightweight crampons

Light, compact, robust.

Lovey crampons, small and light.Can be tough to get tight enough to stay securely on boot. Takes some practice.

Excellent quality and lightweight. Tip to swap out the lever lock to the flex lock: step down on the crampon with your boot and follow the instructions and use the strap to pull on one side of the lever lock until it’s unseated. Use the straps again to pull on the flex lock until it’s seated.

Excellent crampons, fabulous on stiff boots. Make sure you buy replacement cord though. Bit of a learning curve on approach shoes but impressive what you can get away with.
