軽くて丈夫で、簡単に収納できます。地面が濡れているときや雪が降っているときに防水底部は非常に便利です。外出時はトラベルマットとしても使えます。超軽量で旅行する場合 (バックパッキングなど) にはおそらく理想的ではありません。化学繊維であるため、ダウン製品ほど収納可能でも軽くもないからです。その他の用途としては、ライトダウンよりも丈夫で、濡れても保温性があり、泥だらけの愛犬が寄り添っていても簡単に洗えるので理想的です。
