The seventh version has been further refined and re-modeled for improvements in both ease of use and flying characteristics. The design goal of the V7 was to improve all aspects of the kite to allow new comers to easily enjoy the sport from their very first session. This is made possible by creating an incredibly stable kite, which has constant pull, a large wind range and predictable handling.

The V7 has flatter arc than it’s predecessors giving it a wider wind range, this means more power and more depower. The rib spacing has been optimized to clean up the surfaces toward the tip, which sees gains in both performance and handling. New tab positions offer a rock solid feel in the air and maintain quick turning speed with a more responsive bar feeling. The low aspect ratio ensures stability in the gustiest of conditions, delivering constant power and progressive pull. Blow-out-valves on the under surface help avoid damage if the kite is crashed.

Even though the Access is developed for teaching and entry level riders it has become a favorite for experienced riders who require ultra stability in turbulent high mountain conditions. The Access is also a favorite for expeditions where it is essential to have safe and easy to use kites in extreme conditions.

REVOLUTIONARY INTERNAL RE-RIDE RELEASE SYSTEM

The Internal Re-Ride Release System is the result of two years research and development by our design team and pro riders, with the aim to create the safest system on the market. The goal was to have a release system that once activated the kite can easily be re-launched without having to untangle or clear any lines. Our unique Re-Ride Release System stalls the kite with an internal line – the kite de-powers instantly without tangling and will sit on the ground ready to re-launch when you're ready again.

Another big advantage of our Internal Re-Ride Release System is the land and secure option. We have added the Secure Loop in the line approx 2m away from the rider. To land the kite simply pull the 5th line through the chicken loop until you reach the Secure Loop. The kite will stall and fall to the ground without any pull. Use the Secure Loop in the 5th line to keep the kite on the ground - it can either be hooked onto a carabineer on your harness or over the bar horn. This makes landing and packing your kite safe and easy even in high winds.

We thoroughly enjoyed developing and testing the Internal Re-Ride Release System. It has made mountain climbing and packing on top so much more enjoyable, safe, easy and quick for the user.

Note:
The Internal Re-Ride Release System cannot be upgraded to older kites as it includes lines that are running inside your kite.
For reverse launch and light wind landing we have kept the Brake Stall Handle between the back leader lines.

Innovative Click-In Loop
An all-new push-away quick release with an innovative one-step Click-In reload function that is incredibly intuitive. The release handle fits comfortably in the hand, it is quick and easy to activate the release by pushing the handle away. A self-positioning release mechanism locates automatically, ready to be re-loaded by simply ‘clicking’ in the loop. The Click-In Loop is AFNOR NF S52-503 certified.

Design Inspiration
What’s the first thing you do when you get in a car? You click in your seatbelt, hearing that ‘click’ sound makes you feel secure that you are safely buckled up, and you know instinctively how to release it.

The design of our new release system, the Click-In Loop, is inspired by the same principle.
In the same way fastening your seatbelt has become a natural action when getting into a car, riders should activate and reload their release systems before and after every use.

Although this important safety check is often overlooked, checking your release before each session will ensure it is functioning properly. We developed the Click-In function to be simple and intuitive, so activating and reloading will become second nature.

Ozone Connect Backcountry V2:
The Connect Backcountry V2 harness has been designed for comfort and support while remaining clean, simple and lightweight. The second version has modifications to improve overall strength and load distribution.

This comfortable waist harness with leg straps is ideal for experienced backcountry snowkiters venturing deep into mountains, or riders looking for a lightweight alternative to the classic spreader bar system. The Connect Backcountry V2 has been designed similar to a rock climbing harness so that it will not ride up.

Webbing Loop connection for Quick Release – Heavy duty webbing loop to connect the Quick Release, reducing size and weight of the harness. Three step connection – open Quick Release, feed loop through webbing, reload Quick Release.

Ergonomic shaping - Increased support through wider and improved ergonomic shaped panelling. The load is distributed evenly over a larger area.
Strong internal structure - Plastic layers along the back section with full length webbing support for ideal load distribution and extra strength.

Leg support straps - Color coded, lightweight and comfortable leg straps with neoprene lining for a strong grip/hold on winter clothing. The leg straps are connected at an ergonomic angle distributing vertical loads between the attachment point and leg padding.

Comfort grip fit - Extra padded areas for increased comfort and neoprene lining for a strong grip/hold on winter clothing. It also protects better against the cold.

Technical backpack connection - Female buckles on each side connect directly with Ozone Snow Kite Technical Mountain Bag. Simply unclip the waist strap from the backpack, remove it and click the bag straps into the harness.

Kite leash attachment – Easy to access front kite leash attachment.

Webbing loop attachments – Attach a grab handle or ropes for pulling sleds to the webbing loops on each side of the harness.

The Connect Pro V2 snowkite harness is ideal for all snow or land kiters with the added support and ease of use of a Stainless Steel Spreader Bar. This comfortable waist harness includes removable leg straps making it a very universal harness on the snow or land. Designed for comfort, support and flexibility in use, this harness is perfect to wear over or under your snow gear. Stainless Steel Spreader Bar – The Spreader Bar attaches directly to both the harness and the leg straps reducing spreader bar upward tilt. Extra padding and neoprene covered for comfort.
