The reliable design of Park Tool's FR-5.2 lockring tool includes an added 5 mm guide pin to stabilize the tool when used with quick-release hubs. The FR-5.2G is crafted to fit the most common tool fittings found on 7-to-12 speed cassette lockrings, including those made by Shimano, SRAM, and others. It also fits disc brake lockrings and lockring adapters with 12 internal splines. Its thin wall construction allows for use without removing cones and locknuts. The 1" hexagonal base can be used with a socket, wrench, or bench vise. Made from heat-treated alloy tool steel, this tool is built to last a lifetime.
