A notebook that fits snugly in your thigh pocket (doesn't go muffled in the rain) with its own case that can hold several pens and other small pieces.

The only negative thing about this set is that that “pocket” where the notebook and pen come in is not green but brown in the sand. In other words, "tan" or "desert." Otherwise, I can recommend to those who want a writing instrument set that works in any weather almost anywhere.
