Originally developed for the US military, Rite in the Rain Soft Cover Books are made to survive. Rite in the Rain uses only the most durable glues and materials to ensure your book won’t fall apart in the field. Soft Cover Book 964 fits into the ACU slanted breast and shoulder pocket. Useful reference material is printed on the back and inside covers.

The heavy-duty “perfect binding” holds strong through bad weather and years of abuse.

I work in the woods from spring to fall and regularly take notes in rite in the rain notebooks. So far, none of the varying weather conditions offered by the Finnish climate have caused difficulties in working with this product. I use a basic pencil for writing, so that's fine if I don't want to make some super-accurate portraits of a coworker.
