A hard-wearing, quick drying and comfortable well fit trousers. The pockets are functional and specious as mesh pocket fits in my iPhone pro max perfectly. The double layer of fabric over the calves withstands against thorny and wet vegetation from the forest floor. Overall whether hunting or hiking this trousers very good for wide range of activities in variety of conditions.
I got these because I don't like shell pants. Fjällräven's pants breathe well and are well suited for mobile hunting and seclusion. At Fjällräven, the sizing of the pants is quite fair. There is a little too much looseness everywhere. Size 46 and my measurements 68 kg/177cm. For some reason, I wanted to put a long dimension on these. Although I am long-limbed, my legs are too long. Regular keb pants size 46 fit just fine. However, I like it because it's cool to wear with wool pants and you can still fit insulating shorts underneath for the coldest weather. Often in stretch pants, the sizing is tighter than regular ones, because the elastic material gives way. Fjällräven has not done this. A smaller size would fit better otherwise, but the waist of the pants is not stretchy, so it would be too tight at the waist.
I can't say about durability yet. Former Gaiter no. 1 pants have been at least of really good quality. These seem to be of high quality. The knife pocket is narrow. Didn't fit my knives. However, it seems to work in place of the knife, because I don't like a knife swinging around the waist. So I already started looking at what kind of knife it could fit. I think the inner pocket reserved for the phone is in the wrong thigh pocket, because it is placed in a zippered pocket. The phone should be easily accessible and now it is behind the buttons and zipper. The tightening of the leg does not seem very good. It slides open easily and the buckle is large. The belt should probably be changed to a different one.
