Newly redesigned, the best-selling, freestanding backpacking tent has reinvented lightweight livability for three. Featuring a new floorplan that offers each occupant easy access to doors and gear, the MSR® Mutha Hubba NX tent is the ideal tent for a minimalist trio backpacking deep into the Sierras in the heat of summer, or tackling the Appalachian Trail for an extended trip in the spring. The apses are a bit cramped. No mosquito nets in doorways. There was not a tent cord in all attachment points. Otherwise in very functional condition

Excellent tent with easy and very rapid setup. Perfect for hiking as it is very light and compact. The most breathable tent I have owned with very good ventilation! Due to the light materials used, the floor of the tent is quite thin so it is advisable to buy the tent footprint as well. Missing some (in my opinion quite important) guylines on the sides to straighten out the side walls of the raincover, so might be reasonable to buy an extra set of guylines before your trip. The mutha hubba is perfect as a two person tent (especially if one of them is a taller man). Three peaople will fit, but extremely snugly. In my opinion, it is worth the minumum amount of extra weight compared to the hubba hubba for two people as it will be so much more comfortable.

A very good durable tent for outdoor activities. Light and enough space inside for two peoples + saddle bags or backpack. Dry fast.

Light and easy and quick to set up with at least two people. A small minus of the small apses, but this certainly belongs in the dome tent.

Smart and light tent. Maybe a small minus of the high bottom edge of the passage opening.

Easy to erect spacious light weight and strong. I bought the Mutha Hubba because my Helinox stretcher can fit through the front entry. Something you can't do with side entry tents.

Light, spacious and easy to set up. An excellent model in its class. Of course, in the rain, it's a shame that you have to set up the inner tent first, but this is a feature, not a fault.
