The estimated delivery time of domestic orders placed by customers is 2-5 business days from the moment that an order has been registered and confirmed (please contact our customer service if you have not received an order confirmation by email after placing an order in our web store). The estimate includes the processing and handling of the order by Aalto Group Oy / Metsästyskeskus and the shipping of the order by the chosen shipping company within the boundaries of Finland. Once an order has been packaged and made ready for collection by the chosen shipping company, you will receive an automated shipping confirmation by email and sms. The shipping confirmation will include a tracking ID that you can use to monitor the progress of the delivery, using the chosen shipping company’s tracking service. Please note that, depending on the chosen shipping company, a slight delay will occur between receiving the shipping confirmation and the first observable updates in the tracking of the delivery. The first observable updates (after the initial registration of the delivery in the shipper’s service) in the tracking service will usually occur once the shipping company has collected the delivery.
Placed orders are handled by Aalto Group Oy / Metsästyskeskus during business days (Monday to Friday, excluding national holidays that occur during business days). The handling and processing time of orders can occasionally be longer than normal due to large influxes of orders that occur during sales campaigns and seasonal holidays.
The handling and processing time of orders that entail installation or modification of products, for example the mounting of bindings to skis, is also generally slightly longer than normal. You can contact our customer service and inquire on the status of your order, if the delivery of an order has significantly exceeded the general estimated delivery time of placed orders. Our customer service personnel will then investigate the reason for the delay and provide you with further information.
When placing an order in our web store, you can choose to pick up the ordered items from our shop in Helsinki (domestic orders only). Store pick up orders are stored in the pick-up storage located in our shop in Konala, Helsinki. You will be notified by email and sms once the order is ready to be retrieved. Pick up orders are handed over to customers at the checkout desk in our shop and you will receive your order by providing our shop personnel with an order number and a valid ID.
If you wish, you can also pick up the ordered items before receiving a notification, granted that all of the ordered items are in stock. If you plan on picking up your order before receiving a notification that it is ready, please reserve additional time for your visit. The pick-up order will be collected by our personnel while you wait, after you have provided our shop personnel.
Pick-up orders can also be retrieved by a person other than the one that originally made the order. However, the person who originally made the order is required to inform Aalto Group Oy / Metsästyskeskus in advance of who will pick up the order. You can do this by contacting our customer service (if urgent, please contact customer service by phone). The person retrieving the order is required to validate their identity and the order will be handed over when our shop personnel has been provided with the correct order number and a valid ID.
Store pick up orders are stored in the shop pick-up storage for 7 days. If a customer does not retrieve the stored order within the aforementioned time period and nothing else has been agreed upon between the customer and Aalto Group Oy / Metsästyskeskus customer service, the order will be considered as cancelled by the customer. The ordered items will then be removed from storage and any payments made for the order will be refunded within 14 days via the original payment method that was used to make the order. Please contact our customer service if you are unable to retrieve your order within 7 days of receiving the pick-up notification.
The assortment in our web store includes products that are both in and out of stock. You are able to include items both in and out of stock in the same order, however orders are delivered when all items are available.
If you wish to receive the in-stock items before all of the ordered items are available, we can offer to deliver the in-stock items with a partial delivery. Partial shipments entail paying an additional fee for the extra shipment and if you wish to receive a partial delivery of the available items on your order, you should choose the” I want to get immediately available items in a partial delivery right away” option at checkout. The aforementioned option will become available once you have chosen a delivery method for the order.
If you wish to receive a partial delivery of the available items on your order but have not chosen the option at checkout, please contact our customer service. Partial deliveries can be enabled after an order has been made, in return for paying the partial delivery fee.
Aalto Group Oy / Metsästyskeskus reserves the right to enable partial deliveries of orders if needed. Partial deliveries include a packaging slip that details which ordered items have been delivered and which ordered items are to be delivered later when they become available.
Orders can be modified or cancelled at any time by the customer, granted that the order has not been shipped. Please contact our customer service by email or phone if you wish to modify or cancel your order. Requests sent by email should be titled with a suitable and descriptive headline, for example ”Cancellation of order 1234567”. You will receive a confirmation or answer from our customer service when the requested changes to your order have been made or if there are any obstacles that prevent the requested changes being carried out.
When you cancel an order or items that you have already paid for you will be refunded for the payment within 14 days via the original payment method that was used to pay for the cancelled order or items. If the cancelled order or items were paid for using the payment method ”invoice or instalments” the credit provider will be automatically notified of the cancelled order or items.
If the customer does not pick up the parcel or the customer refuses to receive the shipment, the fees will be deducted from the refund. These fees consist of the original delivery cost without possible discounts + shipping cost of the return package (= original delivery cost) + handling fee 10 €. If the shipment has been sent outside the EU and the customer refuses to receive the shipment and refuses to pay taxes, customs, etc. costs, and the shipment is returned to the sender, Aalto Group Oy / Metsästyskeskus will deduct from the refund the costs mentioned above as well as the costs incurred from the export, such as taxes, customs duties, and the carrier's handling fees.
We do not provide offers or quotations for individual products or regular orders. However, if you are interested in ordering larger quantities of products (equal to or exceeding a value of 2000€) you can request an offer. When requesting an offer, we kindly ask you to send us an email containing the following information: A detailed list of the exact items that you wish to purchase (product name, size, colour and other variables mentioned) and their quantities. Our personnel will then review the request and the listed items. If we are able to provide you with an offer for the listed items you will receive the offer as an answer to your original email message. Please note that we do not guarantee that we can offer a discount for the items you wish to purchase, even if the value of the order exceeds the previously mentioned threshold value of 2000€.
The assortment in our web shop includes a large variety of products that are out of stock but available for order. Delivery time estimates are provided on the product page of a product that is out of stock but available for order. Products that are out of stock and currently unavailable are noted with “not available” instead of a delivery time estimate. Delivery time estimates of different brands and products vary greatly.

If an order is declined and cancelled by Aalto Group Oy / Metsästyskeskus, any payment that has been made for the order will be refunded within 14 days via the payment method that was originally used to make the order.
Aalto Group Oy / Metsästyskeskus retains the rights to decline to deliver products or services in cases where an erroneous price has been displayed or communicated for a given product or service as a consequence of a technical error, human error, misprint, typo, misunderstanding or any other comparable reason. Varuste.net also retains the rights to decline to deliver products or services in cases where an erroneous availability status has been displayed or communicated as a consequence of a technical error, human error, misprint, typo, storage error, outdated availability information or any other comparable reason, for a given product or service that is no longer available.
In the above-mentioned scenarios Aalto Group Oy / Metsästyskeskus customer service will contact the customer as soon as possible to inform the customer of the error that has occurred and to offer the customer the option of either cancelling the order or changing the ordered item to another comparable product, if a comparable product is available.
Please note that the shopping cart of the web shop does not reserve products. Thus, changes in the price and availability of products may occur even if products have been added to the shopping cart.
